Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], March 20: KRAFTON India today rolled out the BGMI 4.3 Update – the most ambitious and wide-ranging update in the game’s history. The update introduces the All New BGMI, a ground-up reimagination of the game’s entire in-game interface built for a new generation of Indian gamers, two of 2026 league’s most iconic franchises – Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders through franchise-themed cosmetics, Card Collection System – a brand-new collectible progression mechanic that rewards players for exploring game modes and engaging with the community, collaborations with Jujutsu Kaisen and Apollo Sportscar, new and returning fan-favorite X-Suits, and the much-loved Ancient Secret Rise Theme Mode, winning fan votes and returning. BGMI 4.3 is set to expand the game beyond a battle royale – into a living, evolving cultural platform that reflects how India’s 250 million players play, collect, compete, and connect with the things they love most.

    Introduces:

    1. Revamped In-Game UI and lobby, a ground-up reimagination of BGMI’s visual identity – brighter, more modern, and built for the next generation of Indian gamers
    2. CSK and KKR Collaborations, bringing two of the 2026 league’s most iconic franchises into the battlegrounds through franchise-themed cosmetics, dedicated Photobooth POIs across Erangel and Livik,
    3. Card Collection System, a brand-new collectable progression mechanic that rewards players for exploring game modes, completing missions, and engaging with the BGMI community
    4. Additional Collaborations with Jujutsu Kaisen and Apollo Sportscar, alongside the return of the beloved Ancient Secret Rise Theme Mode and new and returning X-Suits

Commenting on the landmark update, Srinjoy Das, Director – Marketing and BGMI Product Management, KRAFTON India, said, “This is the most jam-packed update for BGMI fans in a long time. While we made contextual and beautiful changes to the menus, that makes progression feel lively, we have also made a ton of gameplay improvements as well. Together with the exciting new Card Collection mechanism and the exciting collaborations, this time we focused a lot on our fan voice – they wanted Ancient Pharoah back, we’re bringing it back. Dark Raven is a heavily sought after X-suit, we’re bringing it back, as well. There’s never been a more exciting time to be a BGMI fan! Last but not the least, we have an even bigger surprise for BGMI and cricket fans on 28th March”

The All New BGMI: Rebuilt from the Inside Out

At the heart of the 4.3 update is the most significant visual and functional transformation in BGMI’s history – the All New BGMI. The game’s entire in-game interface has been rebuilt from the ground up, introducing a brighter, more modern, and more vibrant visual identity that marks the beginning of a new era for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA. The redesign retains the core BGMI experience that the community has always known, while delivering a look, feel, and functionality that is unmistakably new – more energetic, more premium, and more aligned with the expectations of today’s Indian mobile gaming audience.

This is not a cosmetic update. The All New BGMI is a statement that BGMI is evolving, and that its next chapter will be its most vibrant yet.

    Key features include:

    • A brighter design palette with stronger highlights, stylised iconography, dynamic lighting and reflections, and vibrant accent colours
    • Cleaner, less cluttered UI panels with sharper focus on character display and gameplay entry points – creating a more polished and premium first impression
    • Larger visual tiles, simplified menu structures, and clear progression paths – making BGMI more intuitive for new players while retaining full depth for veterans
    • Lobby graphics enhancement setting for a personalised visual experience

Introducing Cards: A New Layer of Collectibility

BGMI 4.3 introduces Cards Collection – a brand-new collectable progression system that adds an entirely new dimension to how players engage with the game. Built to reward exploration, community participation, and long-term engagement, Cards give players a compelling new reason to return to the Battlegrounds every day – not just to compete, but to collect, trade, and progress. The system runs alongside core gameplay, so that everyone can complete missions and add cards to their collection while celebrating the game’s most iconic cultural moments through special themed collections.

    Key features include:

    • Earn Cards through Theme Mode missions, Play & Win events, and Crates
    • Each Card belongs to a category with its own Collection Level track – reaching higher levels unlocks exclusive upgradeable weapon skins available only through the Cards system
    • Trade Cards with friends to complete collections and build community around shared progression
    • Dismantle duplicate Cards for Theme Tokens, avatars, frames, and other in-game rewards
    • Special collections including Cricket-themed Cards, cards commemorating previous BGMI theme modes, and a Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration set

Expanding the Collaboration Ecosystem and Returning Fan Favorites

BGMI 4.3 deepens its collaboration ecosystem with its most culturally significant partnerships yet. The collaboration and content roster has been expanded with both locally and globally beloved IP and community-favorite experiences – ensuring the update offers something for every kind of BGMI player, from collectors and cosmetic enthusiasts to competitive veterans and casual fans returning to the game.

    Key features include:

    • Brings Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders directly into the game right before the 2026 league season. These collaborations go well beyond branded cosmetics, embedding both franchises into live gameplay through dedicated interactive in-game spaces and ongoing reward loops designed around fan participation, team identity, and community engagement. For India’s cricket fans and BGMI players – two of the country’s most passionate communities – the 4.3 update is where those worlds finally meet. The CSK collaboration goes live on 21 March, followed by the KKR collaboration on 25 March.
      • CSK items:Thala Legacy Set (outfit),  Thala Monster Truck (vehicle skin)
      • KKR items:Knight Dominion Set (outfit), Eden Charge Buggy (vehicle skin)
      • Dedicated Photobooth POIs for both CSK and KKR across Erangel and Livik – where players can step into the battleground alongside franchise team players and take photos of themselves with the superstars of both franchises.
    • Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration – Mini RP and Lucky Spin themed around the globally beloved anime franchise
    • Apollo Sportscar collaboration – Speed Drift integration bringing high-performance automotive energy into the Battlegrounds
    • Phoenixtra X-Suit – a new premium cosmetic addition expanding BGMI’s high-tier cosmetic lineup
    • Dark Raven X-Suit — a community favourite returning for collectors
    • Ancient Secret Rise Theme Mode – one of BGMI’s most beloved themed gameplay experiences returns, with unique locations, combat mechanics, and strong community and creator engagement opportunities

As BGMI continues to evolve, the 4.3 Update strengthens its position not just as a battleground, but as a living platform shaped by culture, community, and continuously expanding player experiences.
